As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re reminded that gratitude is best expressed through giving. This season invites us to pause and reflect on the blessings we enjoy—family, health, community, and the simple gift of a meal on the table. Yet around the world, millions of children and families will go to bed hungry tonight.

Hunger continues to claim lives every single day—but together, we can help stop it.

This Thanksgiving season, we invite YOU to join us for an unforgettable event:

Together, we’ll pack 40,000 meals for starving children and families in Uganda, bringing hope and nourishment where it’s needed most.

This is more than an event—it’s an act of gratitude, compassion, and love. Whether you donate, pack, or both, your participation makes a real and lasting impact.

1️⃣ Donate:
Your donation fuels every meal we pack. With food prices rising, each meal costs just 30 cents, and every 6-meal package costs $1.80. Every dollar you give provides life-saving food and hope to a family in desperate need.

All donations are tax-deductible, and 100% of your contribution goes directly toward meals for starving children and families. You can donate through our Eventbrite page or choose to become a Missionary Sponsor or Angel Donor. Every gift—large or small—brings us closer to ending hunger.

Experience firsthand the joy of giving and the power of community! By joining the packing party, you’ll be part of something beautiful—turning gratitude into action and helping us pack 40,000 meals together.

Bring your energy, your heart, and your helping hands. Every scoop, every seal, every box packed is a step toward saving a life.

Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025
Location: OLQA Ministry Center Across from the Church
Packing Begins: 10:15 AM

🕘 Arrival Time: Please arrive between 9:45 AM and 10:10 AM to check in, receive your apron and hairnet, and get ready to pack!
We’ll begin promptly at 10:15 AM with a short training session led by your Missionary Table Captain.

Wrap-Up Time: Around 12:30 PM, with optional service hour verification available for volunteers.

• Packing Party Missionaries: Arrive by 9:45 AM ready to pack and serve!
• Missionary Table Captains: Arrive by 9:15 AM for team briefing and leadership prep.
• Set-Up Crew: Arrive early at 8:00 AM to help prepare tables and packing materials.
• Clean-Up Crew: Join us at 11:30 AM to help pack up and leave our space spotless.
