About this Event
Thanksgiving is slowly approaching. This is a great time to reflect & give thanks for all the blessings we have especially food. Want to give thanks and give back? Join our 10 Year Anniversary packing party, where we will be packing over 35,000 meals to benefit children and families around the world who struggle for food everyday. Unfortunately not everybody has the same blessing especially when it comes to food. Thousands die everyday due to starvation. HELP us fight in ending world HUNGER by joining us at our packing party.
There are two ways to help: You can pick one or even better DO BOTH!
- Donations: Cost of food to pack meals has gone up every meal now cost 30 cents that means every package (6 meals) cost $1.80. Anything helps and since it's non-profit it is eligible for tax write offs, from personal, trust or even estates taxes. Please make donations payable to FEED THE HUNGRY. - Sign up & attend our event: Register below as: a packing party member, party hostess, set-up crew, clean-up crew and/or table leader (if you have already attended our parties) We will be packing 35,000 meals and need all the hands we can get. The packing starts at 10:15am packing party members please arrive between (9:45am-10:10am). Service Hours Verification provided.

- Write a check and make payable to "OLQA Feed the Hungry.:
- ARE YOU AN EARLY BIRD? WANT TO HELP SET-UP? Please arrive by 8:00am and help set-up tables and materials. Service Hours Verification provided.
- TABLE LEADER? Please arrive by 9:15am for training session.
- ARE YOU A LATE BIRD? WANT TO HELP Clean-up? Please arrive by 11:30am and help clean-up tables and materials. Service Hours Verification provided.
Packing party members please arrive between 9:45am- 10:10am, with your virtual ticket from this event in order to check-in, get hairnets,aprons & share with others before you are routed to a packing party table where your table leader is. We'll be starting promptly at 10:15 am in the parish hall, which is across the street from the main church building. Since we have over 35,000 meals to pack, we want to be sure to start right on time--so we need your support to help us reach that goal by arriving early. At 10:15 we'll have a short training presentation from your designated table leaders and then we'll get to packing! We should be finished by no later than 12:30pm.
