Feed the Hungry serves breakfast to the hungry at the Salvation Army downtown on Friday mornings. Last year we served over 4,000 meals.Send email to [email protected] if you would like to volunteer. Each week volunteers sign up to food bring including: Sausage, Donuts, bananas and to-go bags we make at home with packaged crackers, granola bars and snacks.
On Friday morning we serve a hot breakfast including Scrambled Eggs, sausage, oatmeal etc, and to-go snack bags.
The Salvation Army is at 1111 West Markham (at Cross St, near Doe’s Restaurant). We meet there at 6:30am on Fridays. We usually finish by about 7:30am.
