Every year, we come alongside Lighthouse to serve dozens of families in the shelter, most with children around 10 years old, providing meals, comfort, and care. This week gives residents care and kindness in an otherwise difficult time. Through our item of the month collection we are requesting new and gently used Halloween costumes for the children in the shelter to be given out at an ice cream party on Oct. 17th.This year we will need 880 items and $5,000 ($2.97 a meal) to feed breakfast, lunch, and dinner to 80 people for the week of Oct.12 - 18th!
