“Feed Me” Growing Bug Eating PlantsDavid CrosbySaturday, November 810 am – 12 pm$15
Ever been fascinated by a Venus flytrap snapping shut? Or curious about how pitcher plants lure in their unsuspecting prey? Join us for a wildly fun and fascinating workshop all about the mysterious world of bug-eating plants!
You’ll learn how to create and care for your very own bog pot or even design a backyard bog garden—perfect for adding drama and intrigue to your landscape. We’ll have live examples of carnivorous bog pots for inspiration, and you’ll get expert tips on keeping them happy and thriving.
Your guide, David Crosby, has been growing these captivating plants for over 5 years and even took first place at the Philadelphia Flower Show in 2024 for his stunning carnivorous plant display! Many of the plants featured are native to North America—some even to our Mid-Atlantic region—so you can grow them knowing they’re right at home here.
Participants receive 20% on any plants purchased the day of the class
