This event is open to all Federal Way residents.Drop off the following items for free!
PAPER FOR SHREDDING:
- Up to three shopping bags of paper for shredding.
- Please do not bring any pre-shredded documents.
EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE FOAM:
- Only clean and dry #6 expanded polystyrene containers and blocks white in color, packing peanuts (any color). No tape or labels, no hot tub covers.
TEXTILES:
- New and used clothing, towels, bedding, fabric and rags.
- If items are not suitable for resale, please label them "threadcycle" for proper recycling.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES:
- Small working household appliances and electronics.
- This does not include microwaves or refrigerated appliances.
BONUS - BATTERIES AND TOOLS:
- South King Tool Library also collects batteries for recycling and tools for donation! Battery, corded or manual function tools only.
- No lithium or rechargeable batteries. No gas powered tools.
