We’re excited to be back at the beautiful Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art for February’s Sketch Out! Thanks to Event Services at the Kemper for hosting our group.We’ll meet at 10am in the meeting room by the west entrance for a super quick demo —
Perspective Sketching and Page Layout
Then head into the atrium and galleries, the outside spaces, and the neighborhood and environs to wander and sketch.
We’ll meet at noon in the Kemper’s beautiful light- and art-filled restaurant, Oil on Linen, for our throw down and photos. Several us of sketched in the restaurant last time and enjoyed marvelous coffees, tasty nibbles, and a delicious brunch!
What we can bring into the atrium and galleries —
sketchbooks, graphite pencils, colored pencils, and crayons only. Drinks in atrium only, please.
What we can bring into the restaurant —
markers, ink pens, and watercolor.
Folding stools are available, no easels or tables allowed in galleries. Small drawing boards are allowed.
