This movie night is open to any pet professionals or dog geeks! If you earn money caring for pets or are going to school to care for pets in any professional capacity, we welcome you to attend. This event is also open to pet professionals who volunteer their time on an ongoing and serious basis, such as board members, rescue coordinators, and other such volunteer leadership positions, as well as dog hobbyists who love learning more about all things canine. We'll be meeting on the last or second-to-last Thursday of each month for a continuing education get-together. Plan to arrive at 7pm to network and chat. The movie will begin at 7:30pm, with a chance to discuss it afterwards.
Please bring your business cards, a comfy chair, and your ideal movie-watching cozy comforts (blankets, PJs, etc are encouraged!). This is a humans-only event, but quiet, well-behaved dogs who are friendly to people and other dogs are always welcome. Please note that some of the videos we view may include barking or aggressive dogs, which can be stressful to some pups.
This event is free for all pet professionals and dog nerds. If you'd like to enjoy snacks with your movie and/or help support the costs of our facility, we ask for a small fee to cover those costs.
February's movie will be: Multiple Dog Households by Sue Sternberg (1/2)*
Run Time: 107 minutes
*Multiple Dog Households is a long movie, so we've chosen to break it up into multiple pieces. While attending all of the movie nights devoted to this topic will result in the best understanding, each piece stands alone and can be watched without watching the previous disc if needed!
