Enda Kenny is an Irish-born songwriter who has made his home in Melbourne since the late 1980’s. His thoughtful, descriptive stories of his adoptive homeland have struck a chord with festival audiences all over the world. Multi-instrumentalist Dave O’Neill spent a decade on the road with the Eric Bogle Band. Kenny & O’Neill have a musical alliance that entertains and engages every audience they play to.A string of early songwriting awards led to a full-time career as one of the best entertainers in the world of folk and acoustic music. He is a double finalist in the 2024 year’s Australian Folk Music Awards (AFMAs) for Best Solo Artist and “The People’s Choice Award.”
Since returning from his last UK Tour in June and July, Enda has delighted Australian audiences in WA’s (at the Nanga Festival), in Victoria at the Maldon Folk Festival and played two international mini tours in New Zealand. A string of shows on the East Coast of Australia will see him playing shows at the Newstead and Cobargo Folk Festivals, and concerts in Newcastle, Woy Woy, Illawarra, Sydney and Canberra.
He will be performing material from his back catalogue alongside tracks off his new album After The Interval – launched in March 2024. His songs are always memorable, often hard-hitting and spiced with plenty of humour.
