About the presenter:
Mian Situ, is an internationally acclaimed realist painter known for his masterful figurative works, evocative landscapes, and scenes that explore history, culture, and everyday life. Born in China and trained at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Situ brings a strong academic foundation to his work, blending classical draftsmanship with a nuanced, contemporary approach to light, color, and narrative. Working primarily in oil, he is recognized for his ability to convey mood, human connection, and cultural nuance with elegance and emotional depth. His paintings have been exhibited widely and are held in prestigious museum and private collections throughout the United States and abroad.
