Howdy, beeks!Our February meeting is fast approaching! Our speaker for this meeting will be EAS Master Beekeeper Kent Williams; yes, the same man who has a beekeeping tool named after him! With over 30 years experience, he's a font of knowledge and we're quite honored to have him come speak for us.
You probably know the drill by now: doors open around 6PM Central (the person writing these up lives in Eastern time, and she sometimes gets confused!), with our dinner starting around 6:30, so we can roll into our speaker no later than 7:00PM. If you want to bring something, be sure to sign up through Ed's e-mail link (or here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B4DAEA82FA2FDC70-62431428-ccba#/ ), *OR* message Ed what you're bringing and he'll add it to the list for everyone to be able to see and coordinate with. Newbees are encouraged to come and ask questions before the actual event start time/before dinner begins (I believe this happens around 6:00-6:30, sometimes earlier).
If you have yet to pay your yearly club dues, it's a-okay! If you're a single person coming to the meeting, it's $20 -- if you're a family of 3 attending as a single unit, for example, it's also $20 (not PER family member, just $20 for all 3 of you). Remember that your dues go to help us find and enlist cool speakers like Kamon, Kent, and all the other speakers we've got lined up this year!
We should also have NEW club shirts this meeting! The new shirts will be $15, while the old stock we have will be reduced to $10.
