About this Event
Welcome to the February Marietta Housing Forum!
Join us at First Presbyterian Church for a vibrant discussion on demystifying the development process.
We will have a conversation with Christina DeMaioribus, a seasoned real estate development leader with over 19 years of experience advancing affordable and mixed-income housing across the Southeast. She has directly led the new construction, rehabilitation, and master planning of more than 5,800 residential units, bringing together strategic vision, technical expertise, and community-centered leadership.
Christina is known for her ability to navigate complex development challenges, including large-scale phasing, financing, and resident relocation. Most recently, she played a key leadership role in the creation of a 1,400-unit Housing Plan for the 2024 HUD Choice Neighborhoods Initiative award in Chattanooga, Tennessee. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she also led an inclusive master planning effort for 17 acres and 800 units in downtown Athens, Georgia, a project recognized with a Georgia Planning Association Award.
She began her career in sustainable community development at Southface Energy Institute, where she spent five years focusing on high-performance and environmentally responsible housing. Christina later served more than 12 years at Columbia Residential, rising to the role of Director of Development. She currently serves as Chief Development Officer at Collaborative Housing Solutions and as a consultant to Enterprise Community Foundation, where she continues her mission to expand access to high-quality, affordable housing.
Christina is an active leader in housing, planning, and land stewardship initiatives, including Women in Affordable Housing (WAHN) and multiple municipal comprehensive planning committees. She holds a Master of Science in Building Construction and Integrated Facility Management from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Environment and Society from the University of Alabama.
A light breakfast will be served.
