If you want to learn to swing dance, you've come to the right place! Starting on February 6, our four week beginner series will get you started on your swing dance journey. The series focuses on Lindy Hop, and covers everything from the triple step to the swingout. No partner or experience is required!Our classes are designed to be progressive series. That means each class builds on the previous one, so it is best to come every week! Both the beginner and intermediate classes run from 7-8pm. Each class costs $15.
If you already know some Lindy Hop and want to learn even more cool moves, check out our intermediate Lindy Hop series! This series will focus on introducing you to some new Lindy Hop vocabulary, and adding some spice to your dancing with fun variations. Students in this class are expected to know how to do a swingout.
From 8-10pm is our weekly social dance! Come dance the night away to our swinging DJs every Thursday. The social dance costs $8, $5 with student ID, or is FREE for folks who take lessons beforehand.
Both the lessons and the social dance are located at The Brownhoist, at 4403 St Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44103. Free parking is available in the lot at the corner of St. Clair and E. 45th, as well as on surrounding streets.
