Heartwork! focusing on heart health, how the heart works, and understanding emotions.Our learning goals include:
- Understand the basic functions and importance of the heart.
- Visualize how the heart pumps.
- Learn about heart health, including the role of exercise and nutrition.
- Incorporate science, health, emotional learning, and teamwork
- Talk about CPR, AED, and EKG machines, education about cardiac function and emergency procedures (if age appropriate)
Join us to measure heart rates, create our own water bottle heart pumps, and "hearts and crafts" :)
