Dr. Gretchen Eick will be our guest speaker at our February meeting on the evening of the 22nd. Gretchen is a well known local author of history books as well as novels. Many of her writings have dealt with issues of social justice. At our February 22nd meeting, she plans to discuss the implications of her most recent book, Resistance. The book is a speculative near-future novel of what happens when the National Front Party is elected in France. The comparison to the current United States might be considered chilling.
Join us at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Wichita at 6:30 pm for refreshments and at 7:00 for the discussion.
