About this Event
February Fortunes – A Well of Hope is a student-led event which is running on Monday 2nd February, 13.30 - 15.30 and is created by our Level 3 Beauty students, supported by our Level 2 Beauty and Hairdressing students at the Signature Hair Academy at Coastland College, in conjunction with regular client, Jill Wintle.
This uplifting afternoon celebrates self care, love and positive affirmations, all while raising money for a meaningful cause, The Fortuneswell Unit. Our students have thoughtfully planned every element of the event, combining beauty and hair, wellbeing and community spirit to create a welcoming and feel good experience for everyone who attends.
Tickets are £3 per person which are to be paid upon entry to the event (CASH ONLY) and include a complimentary drink on arrival, nibbles and a gift bag. Guests can enjoy a pink-themed atmosphere filled with sweet treats, fruit punches, a raffle and the opportunity to explore the range of treatments offered within our Hair & Beauty department. It’s the perfect chance to relax, indulge and support a cause close to Jill.
On the day, guests will also be able to pre-book appointments for a special ‘TREATment Tuesday’ for Tuesday 3rd February. Our Level 3 Beauty Therapy students will be offering mini back, neck and shoulder massages or express Eve Taylor facials for £10, while our Level 2 students will be providing hand and arm or foot and leg massages, tinting services, brow shaping and facial waxing for £5 per treatment which will have to be paid upon booking the appointment. Hairdressing students will also be offering blow-dries with heated styling for £10.
