Please Join us for our February First Friday Art Opening, Friday, February 6th from 5pm to 8pm Featuring Artist of the Month, Carol Lye, here’s a little more about her in her own words: “I am a local, self-taught artist, born in Auckland, New Zealand. After spending over 30 years on the Gold Coast of Australia, I moved to the United States in 2022. My American husband and I are now permanently settled in the beautiful city of St. Augustine. My love for art began in my early years in New Zealand, and while raising my family in Australia, I immersed myself in exploring a wide range of artistic mediums and styles.Recently, I've been focusing on the vibrant and expressive possibilities of ink, creating colourful, cheerful, and uplifting works. Most of my works incorporate the New Zealand, traditional spiral Maori Koru which resembles new life, growth, strength, peace, harmony and the continuous cycle of life. I find that the natural beauty of Florida is a constant source of inspiration, which I channel into each of my newer creations.

The Art Studio is located at 370 A1A Beach Blvd. in the St. John’s County Pier Park and is open 7 days a week from 12pm to 5pm. We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization that brings Art and Culture to the community and offers classes, special events, exhibitions and rental space.
