Canva Confidence: Design Made Simple for Your Business
Have you ever opened Canva with big plans, only to feel unsure of where to begin - or overwhelmed by the possibilities? Or maybe you’ve never used Canva at all. No matter your experience level, this workshop is for you.
Canva is an easy-to-use, web-based design platform that empowers business owners to create professional-looking graphics for social media, marketing materials, presentations, and more - no design background required.
In this interactive Lunch & Learn led by Emma Neuhaus, founder of Heart and Craft, you will learn how to confidently navigate Canva, apply simple design principles, and create a polished, on-brand graphic that they can immediately use in their business. Just bring your laptop and your ideas!
*IMPORTANT NOTE* Participants are encouraged to create a free Canva account in advance and bring their login information to the workshop.
ABOUT OUR HOST
Emma Neuhaus is the founder of Heart & Craft, a creative workshop experience designed to help individuals slow down, reconnect, and create with intention. A former art teacher with a master’s degree in curriculum design and over a decade of experience in education and leadership, Emma leads small-group crafting sessions that blend mindfulness and meaningful connection with hands-on creativity. Whether it’s a cozy craft night with friends or a team-building workshop with colleagues, participants walk away with something beautiful, both in what they’ve made and the experience they’ve shared.
Project examples include embroidery, jewelry making, painting, drawing, and more. This isn’t your average paint night, it’s a workshop where all levels of learners are welcome and encouraged to unwind and explore their creative side. The goal? Disconnect from the noise, reconnect with yourself, and put a little love in your art.
In addition to running her own business, Emma works as an independent consultant, partnering with small businesses to develop impactful curriculum, marketing assets, and educational content. Her portfolio includes instructional guides, in-depth reports, workbooks, newsletters, presentations, and branded collateral - all crafted to help organizations educate their audiences, streamline communication, and elevate their message.
In her spare time, Emma is the mom of twin toddlers. She loves to cook, read, and find any opportunity to gather with friends.
