February 2025 Meeting - The Ormskirk Gingerbread Ladies

Ormskirk and District Family History Society (registered charity no. 1004895) invites you to join us for our February meeting, when our speaker for the evening, Kathryn MacDonald (ODFHS Librarian), will be exploring the history of Ormskirk’s connection to gingerbread, the stories of the local ladies who sold it during the nineteenth century, and the fame that the sweet treat brought the town.
All are welcome to join us; a £2 donation is requested from non-members, and refreshments will be available. Doors open from 7p.m. for a 7.30p.m. start.
