Did you know that only four percent of Black Americans’ businesses survive the startup stage, even though 20% of Black Americans start businesses?
Our annual expo is here to change that!
If you are a local Black Owned Business, this event is tailored for you! This event is being brought to you by Black-Owned NW Arkansas in collaboration with Blackground Agency at the Fayetteville Town Center.
All community members and ages are welcome to attend in support of small businesses during this nighttime shopping experience. We hope you join us in celebration of February being Black History Month.
**PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE NOTES BELOW**
VENDOR BOOTH FEE: $200.00 For Profit | $100.00 Non-Profit 501c3
Early Bird Ticket offer of $175 for-profit OR $75 Non-Profit 501c3 vendor fee will expire on 12/1/2024.
• 10’ x 10’ Space
• 1 Table (6 feet)
• 1 Tablecloth (Black)
• 2 Chairs
• Food Trucks will be provided with dedicated outdoor space on the downtown Fayetteville square.
BLACK OWNED NWA EXPO VENDOR REGISTRATION DETAILS
• No Exceptions or extensions, vendor application submissions will close on January 31st at midnight
• Vendor tables are on a first come first serve basis, if you are waitlisted, you will be notified by Monday, January 6th if you are officially a vendor or not.
• Vendor Booth Set Up is Friday, February 21st from 12:00pm-4:00pm or Saturday, February 22nd from 8:00am - 10:00am (for ALL vendors). The expo experience will begin at 11 AM on 2/22/2025, ending at 4 PM.
• To be fair across all businesses, we are not accepting applications from Network Marketing (MLM) salespeople. No strong political affiliates or campaign vendors will be allowed
• Vendors slots are limited and subject to final approval
• Only 1 Business per registration / vendor table and booth rental
• Business at the table must match the registration application and complete signed vendor participation agreement

VENDOR RULES
• You are expected to ARRIVE ON-TIME by 9 AM (if delayed more than an hour without communication, vendor will risk rejection and forfeit their vendor table)
• Do NOT pack up and leave early (before 4 pm). We expect to welcome +2,000 people to shop with your businesses, please be prepared. Early pack up without prior notification and agreement with Black Owned NWA will result in risk of not being invited to additional expo events.
• Bring your own products, promotional materials, and transaction devices
• Electric power and wi-fi access may be available upon request in the registration form
• All vendors agree to manage their own clean up, tablecloth return, and tax form completion to avoid fees and penalties

Location: Fayetteville Town Center, 15 W Mountain St, Fayetteville, AR 72701
Vendor Arrival & Set Up Options: Friday February 21 from 12:00pm-4:00pm or Saturday, February 22nd from 8:00am - 10:00am FOR ALL VENDORS. If you set up on Friday you may arrive by 9:30 AM on Saturday, the expo experience will begin at 11 AM on 2/22/2025.
Consent to Photograph /Videotape / Interview Individuals: Please read, registration / attendance to the expo is you agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth below:
I hereby agree and give my permission for Black Owned NWA and/or partners to record, film, photograph, audiotape or videotape myself (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Works”) and to display, publish or distribute these Works for the purpose of publishing, posting on the Black Owned NWA website and posting on social media sites. I hereby waive any right to approve the use of these Works now or in the future, whether the use is known to me or unknown, and I waive any right to any royalties related to the use of these Works. I understand that the Works may appear in electronic form on the internet or in other publications outside of the Black Owned NWA’s control. I agree that I will not hold Black Owned NWA responsible for any harm that may arise from such unauthorized reproduction.
