About this Event
Join us for a Watch Party of the televised debate for the 2026 California Governor's race, on Tuesday, February 3, at Round Table Pizza in Menlo Park at 225 El Camino Real. The doors open at 5 p.m. and the televised debate starts at 5:30 This is a free event. Food and drink are available for purchase.
The debate participants are:
- Antonio Villaraigosa, former Los Angeles mayor
- Betty Yee, former California state controller
- Eric Swalwell, U.S. representative for California's 14th congressional district
- Steve Hilton, political commentator and political adviser
- Tom Steyer, entrepreneur
- Tony Thurmond, California state superintendent of public instruction

After the debate, we will have a moderated group discussion and the opportunity to take part in ranked-choice voting for the candidates.
Our goal is to bring people together to watch the debate in a safe and friendly environment. We recognize this is a perilous moment for our country. We hope our gathering will encourage the exchange of views and allow people to connect with others in the community.

Round Table is ADA/Wheelchair accessible. There is parking at Round Table and additional parking is available in the lot between Oak Grove and Santa Cruz Avenues.
