About this Event

Join Central United Methodist Church's Jubilee-Ward Circle for Feast for the Spirit, a community-wide gathering for women. The inspiring evening will include dinner with guest speaker Kate Bowler.

Kate Bowler is a New York Times bestselling author of books including The Lives We Actually Have, the host of the popular podcast Everything Happens, Professor of Religious History at Duke University, holds two honorary doctorates and is mother to Zach and wife to Toban.

At age 35 Kate was blindsided by Stage IV cancer and the grueling aftermath of treatment. The experience caused Kate to rethink most of what she thought she knew about life, loss, grief, and joy.

Kate will share her journey and insights into finding resilience amidst life's challenges. Discover her honest and witty reflections on embracing life's ups and downs.

Come and enjoy an evening of fellowship with women in our community.
