Dr. Shadé Y. Adu is an award-winning Digital Brand Strategist, Bestselling Author, and an International Speaker with a passion for people and a love for helping others succeed in life. Driven by the desire to support women entrepreneurs and facilitate the creation of generational wealth, Shadé is truly committed to offering a comprehensive range of services which is oriented towards achieving the 3 I’s; Income, Influence, and Impact. Whether working with a company or a brand, she will stop at nothing short of ensuring desired outcomes.
Dr. Shadé has had the pleasure of being featured on Hello Beautiful, Black Enterprise, The Network Journal, and the Rachel Ray Show. She has also spoken at and facilitated numerous workshops in Kazakhstan and Ghana as well as in universities, high schools, and institutions throughout the United States. In addition to being a full-time entrepreneur, Dr. Shadé received her PhD in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She attributes her success to great mentoring and spiritual favor, paying it forward with the goal of inspiring positive change in the world around her.
One Woman Can Change The World! Sharla Brown, Founder of One Woman
Sharla Brown is a Canadian social entrepreneur, philanthropist and humanitarian who has been passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership and social issues her entire life. In the last 10 years Sharla has received 13 business and social impact awards, including the international WEF Iconic Women in Social Enterprise Award in 2016, the 2019 Ruby Award from Soroptimist International, a nomination for the 2017 Ontario Premier’s Award, 2019 Philanthropist by the Toronto Waterfront Women’s Awards, and has been invited to meet OPRAH!
For more than 28 years, through her entrepreneurial endeavours, Sharla has supported numerous community organizations. As the president of her event management company Keynote Events, she has created and executed more than 200 events and contributed more than 2 million dollars to various community and international charities.
Sharla mentors, teaches and inspires other women to embrace their leadership potential and entrepreneurial spirit. She empowers those around her to use their gifts to create a purpose-driven life doing what they love because she believes that each person’s gifts are like pebbles they can toss into the water, creating ripples that positively impact the world around them.
In 2015, Sharla travelled to Ecuador, and a world-changing ripple effect began through her creation of One Woman and One Girl.
These global social enterprises are on a mission to help women and girls around the globe live their dreams and reach their full potential through education, skills development and entrepreneurship.
Sharla has created over 200 One Woman Fearless events in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Her vision has ignited a ripple that has turned into an international wave of empowerment for millions of women and girls around the globe.
