Are you afraid of the dark? Then don't enter the HBMTBC winter night race series.
Race format: short course - complete as many laps as you can in 30 minutes, plus your last lap.
Race 1- Wednesday 5 June
Race 2- Wednesday 12 June
Race 3- Wednesday 19 June
Race 4- Wednesday 26 June

HBMTBC members $15 per race or $40 for the series
Non-members $20 per race or $60 for the series
You can enter individual races or the whole series.
Registration: 6:15-6:45pm at the carpark.

Night racing is a whole heap of fun, and familiar trails are a whole new challenge to race on at night. You will need a decent light setup - plenty of options from cheapies off trademe to quality items such as Gloworm and others from local bike shops. We suggest 900 lumens or more. If you only have one light, helmet mounted is best. Best of all, have two lights, one on your helmet and one on your handlebars.
Cancellations: there WILL be four races. In the event of bad weather etc we will postpone until the following week, and keep going until we complete the series.
