Description
Latkes, fritters, tempura - all delicious and all fried to perfection. Spend in a little time in our kitchen learning to make these golden, warm, delicious bites that can serve as appetizers or snacks, fill a sandwich for lunch, accompany a salad for a light supper, or become dessert. You'll pick up tips on which vegetables and fruits are best suited for these techniques; perfect the art of creating batters; and discover how critical to success the correct temperature can be. Working with a small team, you'll produce shredded onion and potato latkes; disk-shaped fritters made with assorted vegetables; lightly coated and fried vegetables for tempura; and experiment with a variety of fruits to create your own best of show fruit fritter. At the end of class, you'll sit down to enjoy a fried fritter feast.
For ages 13 & up. Attendees not yet 18 must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ticket. Each attendee must purchase a ticket. Tickets are priced per person.

Safety & Precautions
At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.
For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
