The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a hybrid public meeting for the DuPont Bridge Replacement Project on U.S. 98 in Bay County. The meeting will be held both virtually and in-person on Thursday, April 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (CDT). Citizens are strongly encouraged to attend the virtual meeting. Those who are unable to participate virtually may attend the in-person public meeting to be held at the Parker Global Methodist Church, 908 South Tyndall Parkway in Panama City.

This summer, FDOT will begin a $350 million construction project to replace the DuPont Bridge over East Bay. Crews will construct two new parallel structures adjacent to the current structure. The new DuPont Bridge will feature a total of four travel lanes (two eastbound and two westbound) and will be outfitted with 12-foot-wide multiuse paths to improve traffic safety and enhance mobility.
The project is estimated for completion in mid-2030.
Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.
