Save the date! Hey Y'all,
We are postponing the event a few months. We have decided to not make this a cold weather tournament (dynamic requires their V4V to be in the winter months so we are using a different vendor). The reason is, we want the veterans (our FDC neighbors) to enjoy hanging out and watching disc golf so we are moving this to the early spring for a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
The plan is for this to be a one round, 27 hole tournament. We are working on adding 9 additional temporary holes (some of which will be par 4s and 5s) that will go through the old Caswell County Fairgrounds (now owned by the American Legion) and using the Orchard-Lake Trail that passes through the FDC property. So if you've always wanted longer holes at FDC this is the tournament for you.
We are raising funds for the American Legion Post 89 and the VFW Post 7316. In the past they have used funds to operate a wheelchair ramp building program for the elderly in our community.
