Learn how to ride your bike on city streets with confidence!Riding bikes is fun! It's also a great way to get around town. But riding on city streets in traffic can be intimidating. In this class, you'll learn how to ride your bike on city streets with confidence. We'll talk about the rights you have as a cyclist, the law pertaining to cyclists, and how to stay safe and visible. This class is a 5 to 7 mile bike ride with lots of stops to talk about the traffic conditions and built infrastructure we encounter. Participants should be comfortable riding a bike. We ask that your bring your own bike, helmet, and light set or call ahead to arrange the provision of a bike. We also request that you wear bright comfortable clothing. The class is free, but we're happy to accept donations.
