About this Event
Local community theater group Fairfield Center Stage presents a new cabaret concert titled Broadway DNA: Decoding a Showtune on Saturday March 29 @ Trevi Lounge in Fairfield. Featuring songs from classic and newer musicals and stories about their writers, the concert explores the craft through which songs express character and further dramatic action. Many of the songs will be well known, some less so, and some brand new.
Longtime FCS Music Director and Composer Clay Zambo will serve as host and music director of the concert. The cast of singers includes Jane Barnes, Marc Improta, Cara Kramer, Nick Kuell, Julie Loyd, Samantha Moore, Marcelle Morrisey, Kevin Pelkey, Lindsay Protsko, Mark Silence, and Alexis Willoughby. Zambo and the singers will be backed by veteran FCS musicians Mac Johnston (Violin/Bass), and Gabe Nappi (Drums). Brian Bish serves as Director, with Chris Gensur providing Sound Design. The event is produced by Eli Newsom.
