Calling all GE Capital Week of Caring Volunteer Alumni www.fcaweb.org/WOC2024In September 1999, employees of former GE Capital Danbury & Norwalk, CT created a "Week of Caring" whereby they were able to exchange a day of work for a day of community service at Family & Children's Aid (FCA) in Danbury, CT. From building playgrounds and porches to mulching and painting, employees of the former GE Capital helped lay the groundwork for years to come.
FCAs first Week of Caring planted the seed for members of the community to come together and make a positive impact through giving back. It has been 25 years and since then, FCA has helped thousands of individuals in our Behavioral Health Centers and assisted in placing hundreds of children in our foster homes.
Please help us to commemorate the 25 year anniversary and to reflect back to the year that started it all for a celebratory reunion and fundraising event for FCA on Setember 21, 2024 in Danbury, CT.
