On Friday, April 16th in Fruita, Justin Simmons, Prince Amukamara and Tremaine Jackson will be three of our special guests at the 6th Annual Western Colorado Fellowship of Christian Athletes Spring Fundraising Night of Champions. The Night of Champions will include a banquet dinner, dessert, silent and live auctions with fun and fellowship together. These in-person events are free to attend, but online registration is required: https://westerncoloradofca.org/2021banquet. We encourage everyone to register early as these events will fill up and registration will close. The Grand Junction banquet will be held at Victory Life Church in Fruita, CO. Doors open at 5:00 PM for the Silent Auction and Photo Booth fun to begin. VIP reception begins at 5:00 PM for Banquet Sponsors to meet Justin Simmons, Prince Amukamara and Tremaine Jackson. The evening will include time for each of our special guests to share about their faith and their role in sport. Justin Simmons is a local favorite and will be back to join us as he is still with the Denver Broncos. New this year is former Nebraska Cornhusker and NFL cornerback since 2011 – Prince Amukamara and his wife Pilar. On February 5, 2012, Prince made a tackle in a 21-17 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI with the New York Giants. Tremaine Jackson was hired in December of 2019 as the 19th coach in the CMU Football program. A native of Houston, Texas, Jackson has most recently served as the defensive line coach at Division I (FBS) Texas State University after two seasons as the defensive coordinator at Division I-FCS Abilene Christian University (2017-18).
Come enjoy a fun night of faith, fun, fellowship, and great food. Join us for what promises to be an exciting and encouraging evening as we hear what is happening in the lives of local coaches, athletes, and students in our community. Feel free to invite any adult who might be interested in being part of this special event and learning more about all that is going on with FCA in Western Colorado.
Because seating is limited, reservations are required. An opportunity for a tax-deductible financial investment will be provided. Business attire requested. Individual tickets are free, but limited.
