FC 26 Tournament

1. STRUCTURE OVERVIEW
Total Players: 32
Format: Double Elimination

All players begin in the Winners Bracket.
A first loss moves the player to the Losers Bracket.
A second loss results in elimination.

Final: Winners Bracket Champion vs. Losers Bracket Champion
If the Losers Bracket Champion wins the first final match, a reset match will be played to determine the overall winner.

2. TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Bracket Type: Double Elimination
Match Progression:
Round 1 → Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Final (Winners Bracket)

The Losers Bracket runs in parallel, giving players a second chance to advance.
Matches per Player: Minimum 2 matches, maximum 7–8 depending on performance.
Tiebreakers: Extra Time and Penalties if the match is tied after regulation time.

3. MATCH SETTINGS
Game: EA Sports FC 26
Platform: PlayStation 5
Match Length: 6 minutes per half
Difficulty: World Class
Game Speed: Normal
Controls: Any
Camera: Co-op (Zoom: 0, Height: 20)

4. ADVANCEMENT AND SCHEDULE
Round 1: All 32 players compete (16 matches).
Winners Bracket: Continues toward the Grand Final.
Losers Bracket: Allows players with one loss to fight back into contention.
Grand Final: Winners Bracket Finalist vs. Losers Bracket Finalist.
If the Losers Bracket player wins, a reset match will determine the champion.

5. PRIZES
1st Place: $500 + Trophy
2nd Place: $200
3rd Place: Free Entry to Next Tournament

6. RULES AND CONDUCT
Players must check in at least 15 minutes before the start time.
Cheating, glitch abuse, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in disqualification.
Pausing is only allowed for substitutions or injuries.
All players must respect opponents and staff.
Café food and drink specials will be available throughout the event.

7. REGISTRATION
Entry Fee: $31 per player
Sign-Up Deadline: November 4th at 4:00 PM
Player Cap: 32 (first come, first served)

8. ADDITIONAL NOTES
Live brackets and match results will be displayed on café screens.
Photos and videos may be taken for marketing purposes.
All matches will be officiated by Mench Café staff.
Tournament highlights and updates will be posted on @MenchCafe social media channels.
