Presented by Mike Golden, Director of Advocacy at UT Law, this CLE will trace the origins of the American justice system and its peaceful approach to resolving disputes. It will explore how trial lawyers, through ethical and zealous advocacy, uphold the rule of law and ensure a properly functioning justice system.

Topics include lawyers’ ethical duties to clients, candor to the court, professionalism, relationships with opposing counsel, and how lawyers shape public trust in the justice system.
