This is a rare chance to visit the Fawley Museum and private railway. This tour will support the Fawley Museum.Meeting on site in Henley-on-Thames this visit will aim to cover as much of the available lines/track on the Fawley private railway subject to on the day operational arrangements and constraints. The train will be diesel hauled (shunter D2120/03120) with a single wagon. Attendees will also have chance to tour the vast private museum collection.
You will need to make travel arrangements to reach the site for approximately 11am - directions and instructions will be provided in the e-ticket to be issued five days prior to this fixture. The fixture is limited to 25 members.
Participants will need to bring photo ID and wear sturdy footwear. Please be aware that there are no catering facilities on site so we suggest bringing a packed lunch.
