MUSIC HEALS- this has been our theme since we began these backyard Concerts in the summer of 2020. It is a theme that continues to bring joy and friendship to the listeners and the artists. And great music! Favourite Girl is the new project led by British songwriter Katy Vernon. Katy has been performing original melodic folk pop for over 25 years in the Twin Cities and in the UK. This new project builds upon her catchy sonfwriting and turns everything up to 11! Band members include Dasiy Forestar, Allie Pikala, Alyse Emanuel, and Paul Odegaard. David J. Russ is the guest drummer for the day. This almost exclusively female powered rock band performs bold and eciting songs with a feminist and timeless approach. Taking on the old boys music club and havin fun with it.
