For queers (and their friends), FATTY ACID is Partisan's LGBTQIA+ night! And it's our first FATTY ACID in our new Salford Space! We've missed you all so much and can't wait to reignite the FATTY ACID feeling.

Another steaming full evening's entertainment of full-fat queer activities, easing in with social activities & a meal and ending with BIG performances and DJs for a BIG dance to celebrate being back together!

As always there will be a separate relaxed social space (so you don't have to huddle out in the smoking area in the rain to chat to your new best friend).
Expect the usual FATTY ACID elements:
-Make-up station
-Speed friending
-Art! Performance! Drag!
-Come for tea!
-DJs playing pop/artpop/queerbangers/screamers

Volunteering:
Come and volunteer at Fatty Acid! Partisan wouldn't be able to function without the support of our volunteers working bar, door & clean-up shifts to make our events happen. If you're a new member or an interested first time volunteer, it's a great way to meet other Partisan people and learn how to get more involved. It also means you gain free entry to the event & a free bev! Come lend a hand and have fun whilst you're at it.

Partisan Accessibility Statement
Partisan has an accessible toilet and we have been granted planning permission to construct a ramp at the entrance of the space, which we aim to have completed by the start of October. Whilst we are waiting for the ramp works to be completed a temporary access ramp can be used that is suitable for manual wheelchair users.
Assistance dogs are allowed at all times. Other well behaved dogs are usually welcome, with the exception of in performance rooms of loud music events. If you have a dog allergy/phobia let us know – we’ll do what we can.
Partisan aims to be a safer space. As such, harmful and discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated. As a cooperative, Partisan is democratically owned by its members, and is shaped by everybody through what we say and what we do. If you are challenged or feel threatened, speak to someone wearing a Partisan t-shirt; they are there to help. A quiet space is available for those wanting to take a break for a while, please ask a volunteer and they will show you where to go.

Important things to note!
COVID-19
We are aware that many people are still vulnerable to the effects of COVID-19 and feel unsafe with the governments approach to easing restrictions. We want people to feel safe at this event, so we are asking that ticket holders take a PCR or lateral flow test up to 48 hours before the event. You must provide proof of one of the following to gain entry to the event;
-a negative PCR test
-a negative Lateral Flow test
-proof of double vaccination.
Please show this on your phone at the door, and make sure that the test is no more than 48 hours old, otherwise you will not be permitted entry.

Limited Capacity
Our new space is a lot smaller than our old home. This means we have a very limited capacity for our events. Book your ticket online early to avoid disappointment, we will strive to provide tickets on the door to events where possible.
