Come and experience Father Christmas round the Fire at The Green Place where the garden will be transformed into a magical Christmas Wonderland with twinkling lights, Christmas decorations and lots of fun thing to see and do, all included in your child’s ticket price.
While you wait to see Father Christmas, you can watch festive short films on our big outdoor screen or sneak into and explore Santa's Front Room to see what you can find there. Look around, sit in his chair and see if your name is in his ‘Good Children’ book!
You and your child/children will be called in to meet Father Christmas in his fireside glade where your family can sit by the fire, talk to him and have a photograph taken. Here you will receive a small gift from his elves.
After your visit, head to the toy workshop where your child can make a Christmas decoration or a toy, to keep or give as a gift to someone special.
There will also be time have a go at shadow puppetry and toast marshmallows around the fire before heading home.
Lots to see and do so allow at least 1 hour for your visit. You can arrive at any time from 3pm and do some activities before your Father Christmas meet if you choose, BUT please be in the meeting area 10 minutes before your timed slot.
Snacks and drinks available to buy in the cafe with beer and mulled wine for the grown-ups. There is plenty of seating indoors in front of our wood burners and in covered areas outside.
Finally, as if that wasn't enough, your visit will support wildlife and the environment at the local nature reserve in Cossington Meadows because we will plant one tree for every child who visits.
Last year's event sold out within a very short space of time so make sure you book early so you don't miss this very special magical experience.
All children and adults must have a ticket. Please contact us if you would like to bring an under 1-year old child.
Family appointments with Father Christmas last around 5 minutes (depending on number of children) and are booked within a 30 minute window as shown below. You will be called in to see him during that ½ hour session.
