 Brother John Kattke
Brother John Kattke got his nickname from Sammy Fender, playing a steady Sunday afternoon gig on Chicago’s southside at 58th and Prairie. When Earl King came to Chicago to perform at Buddy Guy‘s legends, John was chosen to be part of the back up band. He’s also performed at Tipitina‘s in New Orleans with Buddy Guy and Wayne Bennett, and the jazz & heritage festival with Dave Specter and Jimmy Johnson.
