About this Event
Prepare for an exciting evening of brain-teasing trivia, spirited bidding, and lively jazz music at the annual Fat Tuesday Trivia Contest and Silent Auction on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. This event is the primary fundraiser for the World Community Concerns Committee, and all net proceeds will support their designated charities.
The Committee will offer soup, dessert, and beverages for a free-will offering, accompanied by live jazz. Don't forget to decorate! We will judge for the Best Decorated Tables and Teams with prizes awarded.
Gather your most knowledgeable friends to form a trivia team of 6 to 8 people. The charge to play is $75 per table or $10 per individual. Teams will tackle four rounds of ten questions each. Teams can purchase up to two packs of five Free Guess Stickers for $20 per pack to use during the game. First place wins $150, and second place receives $100.
Registration is open until Tuesday, February 10. If you don't have a full team, sign up for an "ad hoc" team!
The Silent Auction features fantastic items, and the bidding runs from the start of the event until it closes at 7:50 p.m. We need your generous donations! All auction items should have a minimum value of $50 and must be received by Tuesday, February 10. Please call the church office at 515-279-3658 if you wish to donate.
