About this Event
Fast Track Cities Scotland, coordinated by Waverley Care, is hosting an in-person, one day event with other Celtic nations – Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales – on the 26th of September 2024 at the Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh.
Often sharing similarities with regard to populations, rurality, and geographies, this event will provide a space to come together to focus on common issues – such as inequalities, stigma, and access to services.
The programme for the day will include:
- An overview of how Fast Track Cities in the different nations
- A session on the role of local government in helping to tackle stigma
- Sessions on peer support, engagement in care, PreP and testing and lower prevalance countries.
The day will feature a mix of guest speakers, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. We aim by the end of the workshop each nation will have a plan of next steps they would like to take in their area.
Following the event, please join us for a drinks reception from 6-8pm.
