Fast Forward: The Complete History of Literary Pop in Six Records
Daryl Easlea’s Fast Forward talks are celebrating their tenth anniversary here at Louder, where he gave his CHIC Organization one with Matt Everitt in 2019. Tackling a variety of subjects from French pop to prog, to glam, to music films, Christmas hits and beyond, Easlea takes a non-professorial approach to pop’s fabulous history with use of a PowerPoint, anecdotes and extreme detail.
As Louder is the UK’s biggest Music Literature Festival, Easlea will look at six key records that have been influenced by books, poems and polemic.
With an intermission quiz, of course!
