EN belowZimowe turnieje nawiązujące do popularnej w Japonii tradycji walentynkowej zastępujemy po latach nawiązaniem do starszej tradycji 'mamemaki', czyli przeganiania demonów ('oni') rzucanymi fasolkami ('mame') odprawianymi w 'setsubun', 2. lutego. Ponieważ nie mogliśmy dokładnie wpasować się w datę, turniej odbędzie się w następującą po niej sobotę.
After many years of celebrating the Valentine's Day with a shogi tournament, we changed to a reference to the older tradition of 'mamemaki', i.e. chasing away demons ('oni') with thrown beans ('mame') celebrated at 'setsubun', on February 2nd. Since we couldn't fit the date exactly, the tournament will take place on the following Saturday.
