Join Petra Slinkard, Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Peabody Essex Museum, in conversation with artist Beau McCall (“The Button Man”) and curator Souleo and a virtual tour of the current Fuller Craft Museum exhibition Buttons On!. Showcasing pieces from McCall’s nearly forty-year career, the retrospective explores McCall’s mastery of the button and commentary on topics such as pop culture and social justice. Beau McCall’s wearable and visual art has been included in exhibitions at The Museum at FIT, the African American Museum, and the Houston Museum of African American Culture. Button Fashion is highly encouraged!
