Forget what you know about fashion—come see the future!Join us for an exciting opportunity to see firsthand how innovation meets creativity at our upcoming Fashion Technologies Symposium! GCC’s Fashion Design students have been working hard to create incredible projects that explore the intersection of fashion and technology. From avant-garde garment prototypes to virtual 3D showrooms, this free event offers a behind-the-scenes look at emerging fashion concepts.

Symposium Highlights:
Presentations on ground-breaking topics such as:
• The impact of magic mirrors on consumer habits
• Development of a virtual 3D showroom to showcase student work
• Weather-adaptable resort wear concepts
• Fashion-forward motorcycle safety wear
• Modeling beaded deep smocking fabrics in 3D
There will be Q&A sessions with the student presenters after each presentation and prototypes will be available to examine. We also plan to have some proof-of-concept interactive AR and VR displays in the lobby—try them out for a taste of the future of fashion!
