The Farmington Concert Band, under the direction of Maestro Damien Crutcher presents "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue." Dr. Pamela Klena joins the ensemble as a guest conductor.
A concert highlight will be selections from, "Pictures at an Exhibition." This iconic piece, composed by Modest Mussorgsky, is guaranteed to captivate and transport audiences through its evocative musical storytelling. Founded in 1966, The FCB is home to one of the oldest continuously operating community wind ensembles in Michigan featuring the 60 piece Farmington Concert Band under the direction of Maestro Damien Crutcher. The FCB’s ongoing mission embraces cultural arts, public service, and a life-long education opportunity for musicians.
