**Farming alongside Nature**
Talk by Sorcha Lewis.
Sorcha farms in the Elan Valley with husband Brian, a third-generation farmer at Troedrhiwdraen. Working in harmony with nature has made the farm more resilient and grazing livestock can benefit nature found in the Welsh uplands.
Sorcha will share a story of the uplands where tradition and indigenous knowledge works with modern-day technology to manage the farm so it embraces a rich mosaic of habitats. With a background in Countryside Management and an interest in wildlife and photography, Sorcha will share a bright and uplifting talk on farming in the Elan Valley.
