About this Event
The Farmers Market at Ix is Charlottesville's only year-round farmers market. Run by the nonprofit Market Central, the market focuses on promoting local farms and small food business entrepreneurs. That means you can always find locally grown meat along with fresh seasonal produce. Local grain and flour producers vend monthly!
There is plenty of delicious food cooked at the market as well. Vendors vary weekly but may include crabcakes, Jamaican curries, brisket and grits, tacos, crepes, and more!
Local artisans round out the mix with creative, handmade items such as jewelry, hand-dyed clothes, paintings, sculptures, pottery etc.
