Join us for a special Farmed & Forged Giving Market, a community-driven pop-up created in response to the federal shutdown and temporary pause in SNAP funding. This indoor market will feature local vendors, music, kids’ activities, and community partners, just like a regular Farmed & Forged market, but with a powerful mission to get fresh, local food into the hands of families who need it most.
Families showing an EBT card will receive a “Feed a Family” Box prepared by Region Roots (while supplies last), filled with locally sourced produce, farm-fresh eggs, and artisan bread.
Each $30 donation funds one box, sourced directly from local farmers and food producers. These boxes are made possible through the remaining funds in our SNAP Community Match Fund, along with sponsorships and community donations.
IMPORTANT: Box quantities are limited per city.
We’ll also be raising funds for the Salvation Army, whose food pantries are experiencing their highest demand since the pandemic. 100% of donations will help restock shelves and provide meals for families in need this holiday season.
Because the Salvation Army can purchase food in bulk, every dollar donated goes up to three times farther than a typical grocery purchase; allowing them to buy exactly what’s needed at a fraction of the retail cost and turn your generosity into even more meals for local families. They’ll also be on-site during the event collecting hygiene products to support their pantry programs.
Your monetary donation makes the biggest impact. Save your gas, save your time, and help meet the most urgent needs - please give cash instead of cans.
