This class will provide basic information on how to grow your own mushrooms indoors.
About this Event

Mushrooms can grow on various substrates on tree logs, wood chips, sawdust, straw, leaves, compost, soil or even your jeans! We will have a hands-on experience to make your own oyster mushroom blocks on sawdust. Each attendee will take home the blocks to fruit and enjoy your own fresh mushrooms, along with some ideas on what to do with the “spent” blocks after fruiting.
This program is taught by Noble Mushrooms of Bridgewater.

Please dress for the weather. The class is entirely outdoors and participants should be prepared to walk, sit, or stand outdoors for the entire duration.

Please allow for enough for parking and walking to the Farm Barn. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the start of the class. Meet at the front entrance of the Farm Barn and look for the flag to check-in.
