About this Event
Elmwood Farm is pleased to open our “doors” and invite you to share the first of many meals at the farm. We are a non-profit urban farm and garden dedicated to engaging and empowering our community.
We will share our vision for the farm as a community hub and hearth. During our dinner we will present opportunities to support us financially as we work toward our goal of cultivating personal, family, and neighborhood health.
We are excited to partner with our friends at Molino Oloyo for this inaugural farm dinner. If you aren’t familiar with what these folks are doing, then we are excited to share them with you! Olivia and Jonathan are devoted to celebrating the richness and variety of heirloom (as in traditional, unadulterated, culturally-important) corn from family farms. They create endless forms of delicious meals based on the humble, beautiful masa. Friend of the farm Eve Hill-Agnus has written about them in Edible and D Magazine .
